Manakamana Cable Car to be closed on Sunday due to election

KATHMANDU, April 21:On Sunday, the April 23 (Baisakh 10), the Mankamana cable car service will be closed.

The service will be closed on that day because a by-election for members of the House of Representatives will be place in Chitwan constituency no 2.

Manakamana Cable Bar from Kurintar in the said district to the famous Mankamana temple of Gorkha district will be closed on the day of polling as the crowd will increase and security will be more sensitive, according to Mankamana Darshan Pvt Ltd.

Aiming at the by-elections, cable car service is to be stopped as per the request made by District Administration Office Chitwan.

Mankamana Darshan has informed that it will resume on April 24 (Baisakh 11th).
