IME Automotive Escorts provides free heavy equipment operator training to women

KATHMANDU:Free Heavy Equipment Operator, Backhoe Loader training for Women has been organized by IME Automotive Escorts.

The program, which began on Thursday, was inaugurated by Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FNCCI) and President of IME Group.

President Dhakal stated in the program that the production of skilled labor is the top priority among the five priorities he has established as President of the FNCCI.

Chairman Dhakal stated that if manpower can be trained, the industry's need for skilled labor will be met, and because they can earn a prestigious and high salary even if they work abroad, they will take special initiatives for skill-based training and the production and development of skilled labor.

President Dhakal believes that if women can be skillfully trained, it will contribute significantly to women's empowerment. He stated that with this training, they will get work prospects by obtaining skills, and that traditional social attitudes toward women will shift.

The ladies who attend the training will be given all of the skills and information they need to operate backhoe loaders safely and productively. The program is being attended by 15 women.
