TIA to be halted takeoffs and landings from 1 am to 7 am on Thursday

KATHMANDU, April 19:From 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Thursday, there will be no take-offs and landings at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.

Domestic and international aircraft would be grounded at the airport during this time, according to airport general manager Pratap Babu Tiwari.

According to him, during the strengthening of the airport's power supply system, the work of connecting the online UPS is going on, so the flight will be disrupted.

The airport has also asked customers to call their airline and make plans for the flight at that time.
