Electrical failure caused fire at Tiger Land Safari Resort

CHITWAN, April 13:An electrical short caused a fire at Tiger Land Safari Resort in Meghauli, Chitwan.

The resort said that a fire broke out in the resort's dining hall on Wednesday afternoon as a result of an unexpected electrical short.

According to Ajit Bikram Rana, the resort's general manager, the wind caused the fire to grow and become difficult to extinguish. After the fire broke out, he said, the resort's occupants were relocated to Jagatpur Lodge.

He stated that he could not control the fire because it was windy. 'Even if there is material damage because the visitors are in the room, it is important to us that there is no human damage,' he said.

He stated that the fire on the resort was put out by the Nepalese army's fire department, the metropolitan police, the resort's workers, and the villagers.

He stated that the resort is being cleaned up once the fire has been extinguished. He stated that the fire entirely destroyed the freshly remodeled conference hall, foyer area, and dining hall.

Due to the fire, it is not able to deliver services in accordance with the new year's bookings, he stated, "The bookings were very good." We are now considering how to manage the consumers who have already booked. Only 40 visitors were scheduled to arrive.

Arun Chaudhary assumed full possession of this resort with 35 villas nine years ago.
