Pashupati Area Development Trust scammed the Mahashivaratri fair: Tourism Minister Sudan Kirati

KATHMANDU, April 13:The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, has informed that the Pashupati Area Development Trust committed irregularities during the Mahashivratri fair.

The Ministry has requested that the Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission conduct additional research and take appropriate measures. According to Tourism Minister Sudan Kirati, this year's Mahashivratri fair was held in breach of the agreement, and it was discovered during the investigation that it was a scam. It has been decided to conduct additional investigations and refer the perpetrators to the authorities for prosecution.

Following the loss of the Gyampo, which was used to collect gifts from the Pashupatinath temple complex, an inquiry committee was constituted. According to the Ministry of Tourism, it has been decided to write a letter to the Nepal Police via the Ministry of Home Affairs since further inquiry is required based on the same committee's recommendation.
