Fire breaks out at Tigerland Safari Resort in Chitwan

CHITWAN, April 12:On Wednesday, a fire broke out at the Tigerland Safari Resort in Chitwan.

Since 11 a.m., five fire engines have arrived to put out the fire, according to DSP Bijayraj Pandit, Spokesperson of the District Police Office Chitwan.

The resort's three seminar halls are on fire.

The hall's thatched roof was destroyed by fire. Inside, the furniture and other items have caught fire.

While fighting the fire, local Krishna Adhikari was injured.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are not yet known.

Attempts are being made to put out the fire.
