MP Giri's demand to allocate budget for Tarigaon airport

KATHMANDU, April 11:Deepak Giri, a member of the House of Representatives, has asked for funding to build Tarigaon Airport in Tulsipur, Dang.

He stated during a special session of the House of Representatives on Monday that the airport that has long served West Nepal is now nominal.

MP Giri requested that it be included in the upcoming budget for maintenance.

"There are now only 700 meters of blacktop left." It is necessary to lay 1,600 meters of blacktop. Repairs should be included in the next budget, according to MP Giri.

Giri also insisted on regular flights.

"The airport, which opened in 2011, was closed for 42 years."
