Federation of Hoteliers Gandaki to first convention on Saturday

POKHARA, April 07:On Saturday and Sunday, the Federation of Hoteliers Gandaki will hold its first convention in Pokhara.

The organization, a provincial umbrella organization of hotel, restaurant, and tourism entrepreneur, is getting ready to hold its first convention.

At a press conference on Thursday, General Secretary Devendra Lamsal announced that the convention will elect a new leadership for the next three years. He stated that, in addition to the convention, the organization's future programs and plans will be developed.

The convention will be attended by approximately 120 representatives from the district associations and local levels of Gandaki's 11 districts.

According to General Secretary Lamsal, the convention is critical to the institution's growth. He added that in order to boost the institution's dignity, a community cultural tableau reflecting the province's art, culture, and identity will be displayed.

The federation is also affiliated with 15 tourism-related business organizations. He stated that the province has approximately 6,500 hotels, 54,500 people employed, and a total investment of 62 billion.
