Nepal's tourism promotion interaction program in New York

A special program has been organized in New York, USA, to attract tourists to Nepal. On Thursday, the Nepali Consulate General held an interactive program in Manhattan, New York, with the slogan "Reimagine yourself in Nepal."

The program, held to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Nepal-US diplomatic relations, addressed mutual relations, public relations, goodwill, and tourism between the two countries. The program's speakers shared their perspectives on Nepal's tourism potential and challenges.

In the program, Acting Consul General Bishnu Prasad Gautam discussed Nepal's tourism potential, which began with a documentary about various tourist areas in Nepal. Gautam once urged Americans to visit Nepal, claiming that it is an excellent tourist destination.

Similarly, Joebert Opulencia, President of the Pacific Asia Travel Association's New York Chapter, urged travel and tour operators to list Nepal as a favorite destination because the natural and cultural heritage is extraordinary, beautiful, and the Nepali people are very warm.

Similarly, Alexander K Hardin,Regional Director of the US State Department's Office of Foreign Missions in New York. Hardin discussed the US-Nepal relationship, as well as the two countries' growing community and cultural ties, and assured Nepal that the US would continue to support it.

Amrit Bahadur Rai, Nepal's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, stated that Nepal has the potential to become an international tourism center for personal and professional development through entertainment and adventure, as well as cultural, spiritual, and yoga education.

Vanessa O'Brien, the keynote speaker, recounted her experiences and unforgettable memories from her visit to Nepal, claiming that Nepal is the ultimate destination for those seeking to reach new heights, find courage through consciousness, and explore the limits of human potential.

Similarly, Dr. Seth Sicroff, a writer and trekker, stated that the discussion of Nepal began with the first successful ascent of Everest by Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norge, and that Nepal is an excellent tourist destination.

In the program, Attorney Khagendra GC, former President of NRNA America and Vice President of Socialist International, stated that the promotion of art and culture, as well as person-to-person contact, will help Nepal's tourism.

Similarly, Turkish Airlines' New York Regional Manager Alp Ozama stated that Turkish Airlines is helping to promote Nepalese tourism by directly connecting America and Nepal, and that the airline is ready to take additional steps to promote Nepalese tourism.

The event, which was organized by the Consulate General in collaboration with the Pacific Asia Travel Association and with the assistance of Chhetri & Associates PC, was attended by Consulate General officials, PATA-New York Chapter officials, media representatives, and travel and tour business executives.
