Manakamana cable car to be closed on Wednesday

KATHMANDU, April 02:The 'Manakamana Cable Car,' the first private sector cable car will be closed on Wednesday, April 5th as the tower needs to be repaired. Director Rajesh Babu Shrestha said that the company plans to resume the service from Thursday April 6th after the one-day maintenance is completed.

The cable car  is scheduled to be closed for one day due to tower regular maintenance. The service will resume from Thursday, Director Rajesh Babu Shrestha said.

The company had recently upgraded the cable car from analog to digital system.

The cable car's tower, gondola, bullwheel and other equipment are still the same, and this cable car is the first cable car with a digital connect system in Nepal.

During this period, the restaurant service at cable car Bottom station will remain the same. The company apologizes for the inconvenience caused to the devotees and passengers.
