Five star hotel recognition given to Hotel Ichchha

KATHMANDU, March 31:Hotel Ichchha in Bara has been recognized a five-star rating. The Department of Tourism recognized Hotel Ichchha as a five-star establishment on March 27th.

With this addition, Nepal now has 18 five-star hotels. The Kathmandu Valley has 12 five-star hotels and 6 outside the valley. The first five-star hotel in Madhesh province is Hotel Ichchha in Simara. The tourism department has issued a license that is valid until November 17, 2027.

Hotel Ichchha, located two kilometers from Simara Airport, is owned by Bahadur Wagle. He spent 1.20 billion six years ago to open a four-star hotel with a mini casino. The hotel had 60 rooms at the time. He stated that the number of rooms has now been increased to 100 by investing an additional 30 million.

The real estate and housing entrepreneur Wagle has targeted visitors from a number of Indian cities, including Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Madhuban, Patna, and other domestic locations. Along with the promotion of the tourism industry, he added that economic prosperity is to be anticipated.

Wagle, who began his hotel career in Nagarkot three decades ago, has also stated his intention to open a 'Garden Safari Resort' in Amlekhgunj under the management of Ichcha Hospitality.
