CAAN prosecuted two Summit Air pilots
KATHMANDU, March 15: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN)has taken action against two Summit Air captains who were flying from Pokhara to Jomsom.
The CAAN issued a letter to Summit Air imposing a temporary flight ban, citing a technical failure during the Pokhara-Jomsom flight.
The CAAN requested that the flight be canceled in a letter sent on Tuesday. Summit Air CEO Manoj Karki stated that while the letter was received, no information about which captain or when the incident occurred had been provided.
