Agreement between Machhapuchchhre Bank and Bahrain's Lulu Exchange

KATHMANDU:Machhapuchchhre Bank has entered into a commercial agreement with Lulu International Exchange Bahrain with the aim of making it easier for Nepalis who are employed abroad in Bahrain to send remittances to Nepal.

The agreement was signed by Edison Fernandez, General Manager of Lulu International Exchange and Sarjukumar Thapa, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Machhapuchchhre Bank.

After the agreement, remittances sent to Nepal by Nepalis living in Bahrain from 16 counters of Lulu Exchange can be easily paid from any branch and remittance agent of Machhapuchchhre Bank in Nepal.

Machhapuchchhre Bank is currently providing services through 165 branches, 11 extension counters, 133 branchless banking services and 250 ATMs in all 7 provinces of the country.
