Sichuan Airlines to starts Chengdu-Kathmandu flight

 

KATHMANDU, March 02: The Chinese airline company Sichuan Airlines is going to re-regularize the China-Nepal flight after three years. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has informed that the airlines which have closed Nepal flights due to Covid-19 have got the schedule to start again.

Jagannath Niraula, spokesperson of the authority, said that the company has got a schedule of flights on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. According to him, this airline will resume Nepal-China regular flights from March.

Society International Travel is the official General Sales Agent for this airline for Nepal.

Earlier, China-Kathmandu Himalaya Airlines, China Southern and other airlines have already started flights. It is said that with the addition of the airline, the flight fares to this destination will be cheaper.

According to Tribhuvan International Airport, the number of airlines operating international flights in the country will reach 29 along with Sichuan.
