Silver Mountain School of Hotel Management organizes Inter-college chef competition

KATHMANDU, Feb 16: Silver Mountain School of Hotel Management has organized an inter-college chef competition on food to commemorate the Valentine's Day event.

The participants of the two-day competition had the opportunity to showcase their culinary skills.
On the first day, February 14, all the participants prepared food at home and brought it to the college. Where they were given the opportunity to reheat it and present it deliciously.

Around 58 students participated in this competition where students presented different types of food. Similarly, on the second day, on February 15, there was a cooking competition among the students in the college kitchen itself. Famous chefs Govind Narsingh KC and Vikram Wicks were the judges of the event.

The first prize in the competition was won by Manish Thapa Magar, a student studying in the first semester of International Culinary Arts. Likewise, Rabin Manandhar, a student of Diploma in Culinary Arts, received the second prize.

At the end of the program along with the distribution of prizes, director Rachna Thapa praised the hard work of the students and wished them a bright future.
