Tourism Minister's instructs to monitor Pashupati through CCTV during Mahashivratri

KATHMANDU, Feb 12:Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati, has directed to tighten the security arrangements in the Pashupati area on Mahashivratri.

Participating in the cleanliness campaign organized on the eve of Mahashivratri, he instructed us to keep surveillance through CCTV to strengthen the security system on that occasion.

During the cleanliness campaign that started today with the slogan "Swachh Pashupati, Safa Pashupati", Minister Kirati instructed the trust officials to keep separate 'dustbins' for the disposal of biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste in this area. He was also instructed to arrange convenient toilets for the spectators coming to the Pashupati area.

The Pashupati area cleanliness campaign which started today will continue for a week. As Mahashivratri approaches, the work of painting, repairing and decorating flowers and electric lights has already started in the Pashupati area, said Member Secretary of Pashupati Area Development Trust, Dr. Milan Kumar Thapa.
