Himalaya Airlines to resume Kathmandu-Beijing flight

 

KATHMANDU, Feb 11: Himalaya Airlines is going to resume flights to China's capital Beijing from Saturday.

Himalaya will resume regular flights on this route.

The airline said that it will operate one flight a week from Kathmandu to Beijing Tasing International Airport.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, flights to most destinations in China were suspended.

China is opening up the permission of international airlines to fly in China. According to this, Himalayan will also start from tomorrow, the company said.

Vijay Shrestha, vice president of the company, said that they will provide more services to passengers coming to Nepal from China through direct flights and also support tourism and business.

"We are very happy to re-establish this connectivity and look forward to serving our passengers with increased frequency," he said.
