Tribhuvan international airport services improving : Tourism Minister Kirati

KATHMANDU, Feb 09: Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Sudan Kirati said that the service of Tribhuvan International Airport has gradually improved.

While inspecting the international airport for the third time on Thursday, Minister Kiranti said that he was happy with the comparative improvement of the airport. He said, "This is not a complete reform." But it is gradually improving. I am partially satisfied with this. Special thanks to the beautician who worked 24 hours to beautify the airport.

Minister Kiranti, who arrived early in the morning, conducted an on-site monitoring of the improvement of all airport services. He expects that installing music in the toilets of the airport and introducing the QR code for complaints will make it much easier for the customers.

Arrangements have also been made to monitor the toilet every 30 minutes. Mentioning that the ease of service users is his first priority, Minister Kiranti expressed his belief that this reform will satisfy the service users and not himself.

"Your hard work and effort will make the customers comfortable and make them feel a sense of belonging to our airport," he said.

According to Teknath Sitaula, spokesperson of the airport, Minister Kiranti has given instructions to evaluate 500 trolleys and prepare a financial proposal. He asked the officials of the airport to provide quality passenger service facilities in addition to cleanliness.

Spokesperson Sitaula informed that Minister Kiranti thanked the airport team for the improvement in comparison and asked them to complete the rest of the work as soon as possible.
