Tourism entrepreneurs demand to allow businesses till 1am at Lakeside

POKHARA, Feb 04: Tourism Entrepreneurs have demanded to allow businesses till 1 am at Pokhara Lakeside. The tourism  entrepreneurs of Lakeside have submitted a memorandum to the district administration office and requested to create an environment where business can be run till 1 am.

The business team led by Pomnarayan Shrestha, the chairman of Pokhara Tourism Council, the umbrella organization of Pokhara's tourism associations, visited Chief District Officer Tek Bahadur KC and asked him to facilitate business.

It is mentioned in the memorandum that since the opening of Pokhara International Airport and the expansion of the road infrastructure, the guests coming from outside will arrive at the hotel only in the wee hours of the night.

According to the  entrepreneurs, the entrepreneurs who have been running their business with little hope have been greatly affected by the police administration in the name of security.

In order to boost the tourism sector which is the backbone of the country's economy, the council has demanded that the police administration should facilitate and create a friendly environment for safe business till one o'clock in the night.

In the same way, the council has requested to check only the entry point of the lakeside as the checking of vehicles that are aboard on street number 5 of the lakeside area has also affected the business.
