Former tourism secretaries suggested to convert NAC into company
KATHMANDU, Jan 30:Former tourism secretaries have suggested converting Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) into a company.
Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Sudan Kiranti was given an opinion by former secretaries to transform the NAC into a company for reform.
In the meeting held at the ministry on Tuesday, the unfinished impressions and experiences left by the former secretaries during their tenure, the remaining unfulfilled dreams, our current status and what we can do in the future were discussed on the agenda.
In the meeting, former secretaries such as Leelamani Poudel, Shankar Prasad Adhikari, Mohankrishna Shrestha, Maheshwar Neupane and others shared their experiences and suggestions.
The minister's secretariat has informed that most of the secretaries have made suggestions such as that NAC should be converted into a company.
