NATTA's 'sales mission' team leaves for India
KATHMANDU, Jan 24: A team of tourism entrepreneur has left for India on a sales mission to revive the Nepali tourism sector after the Covid pandemic. The team left for India to promote Nepali tourism in India under the leadership of central member of NATTA, Bishnu Pandey on Monday.
This team will conduct the sales mission program and BTB to be held in Varanasi, Gorakhpur and Lucknow. Many tourists come to Nepal from Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Varanasi in India. Nepali team went to India under the leadership of NATTA with a package including the new destination and expenses for the latest tourism situation in Nepal.
11 travel companies of Nepal, Buddha Air and 11 hoteliers from Lumbini and Bhairahawa are also participating in the sales mission team. The team was seen off at the Tribhuvan International Airport by NATTA Senior Vice President Pramod Dahal and NATTA General Secretary Kumar mani Thapaliya.
NATTA said that more than 100 tourism entrepreneur from India will participate in the sales mission in different cities of India. After completing the sales mission program in India, this team will participate in the Western Travel Mart starting from January 29th in Nepalgunj.
Similarly, as Buddha Air plans to start flights from Kathmandu and Pokhara to various cities in India, Buddha Air employees participated in the sales mission team. Previously, NATTA completed a sales mission program in Malaysia in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board.
