Buddha Air to fly Kathmandu-Tumlingtar from Friday

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: Buddha Air is going to fly Kathmandu-Tumlingtar.

Buddha has announced that it will operate a daily flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar from  Friday (January 20) by ATR-72.

For this purpose the Civil Aviation Authority has given Buddha Air permission to fly.

In the first phase, ATR-72 will make one flight per day, said Gyanendra Bhul, information officer of the CAAN. According to Bhul, Buddha will make two daily flights after March.

Buddha Air is currently providing flight services to this destination with ATR-42 aircraft.

The company believes that the fares will be cheaper for the passengers and the flight will be easier when flying from a bigger plane.

Buddha Air said that it will fly from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar at 9:50 am and from Tumlingtar to Kathmandu at 10:45 am.
