Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Kirati says cooperate with stakeholders to tighten air safety

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Sudan Kirati has said that he will cooperate with stakeholders to tighten air safety. Kirati said that he will try to make air travel risk-free while assumed  his post at the Ministry of Tourism  on Tuesday.

He said that a meeting will be held with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal regarding the plane crash that happened in Pokhara on Sunday. Why did Minister Kirati make the airspace unsafe? He said that he would get information from the authority about what weaknesses there are in this area.

Saying that the working environment should be clean, he also directed that all toilets under the Ministry of Tourism should be kept as clean as those used by ministers. Minister Kirati said that the economy of the country is in a bad state and instructed not to change any of the goods of the ministry. His slogan was to completely remove the discrepancies in the ministry.

Emphasizing on cultural tourism, he said that tourism will be developed by promoting three heritages that cannot be photocopied in our country. Tourism will be developed by promoting and developing Mount Everest, Pashupatinath and Lumbini, he said.
