Plane crash: Tribute and mourning program at Thamel

KATHMANDU, Jan 17: A  lamp was lit on Monday in memory of the passengers who died in the plane crash of Yeti Airlines.

In the lamp lighting program organized by Thamel Tourism Development Council, prayers were given to the souls of those who passed away in the incident.

All umbrella organizations of the tourism industry participated in the program held at Narsingh Chowk in Thamel.

On January 15, Yeti Airlines ANC ATR 72, which was flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara with 68 passengers, met with an accident in Seti river Gorge, Pokhara Metropolitan City-15.
