Black box of crashed Yeti Airlines aircraft recovered
KATHMANDU, Jan 16: The 'black box' of the Yeti Airlines plane that crashed in Pokhara on Sunday has been found.
Spokesperson of Civil Aviation Authority Nepal Jagannath Niraul informed that the "black box" was found this morning.
The black box is considered important in finding the cause of the plane crash. The black box contains 'flight radar record' and 'cockpit view record'.
According to spokesperson Niraula, the black box has been handed over to the Nepali Army. The CAAN says that the black box will be brought to Kathmandu today and submitted to the Accident Investigation Commission.
