Pokhara plane crash: US Embassy expresses grief

 

KATHMANDU, Jan 16: The American Embassy has expressed its grief over the plane crash in Pokhara.

The embassy said on Twitter that the plane crash in Pokhara has caused grief. "We are deeply saddened by the plane crash of Yeti Airlines in Pokhara on sunday morning," the embassy tweeted.

The embassy has also expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased. In addition, it said that no American citizen was involved in the plane crash.

This morning 9N ANC ATR 72 flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara had an crash at gorge of Seti river. There were 72 people on board including 4 crew members.
