Call center established at Tribhuvan Airport to inform about plane crash

KATHMANDU, Jan 16: The government have set up a call center at Tribhuvan Airport to provide information about the plane crash of Yeti Airlines in Pokhara.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel informed that the emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Sunday afternoon decided to establish a call center to provide all necessary information about the crash from one place.

"It has been decided to establish a call center at Tribhuvan Airport to contact families, relatives and others who want to get information about the incident," he said while informing the decision of the Council of Ministers.

Deputy Prime Minister Poudel also informed that the government will facilitate the recovery of the bodies of those who died in the crash and take them to their place.
