Pokhara plane crash: Indian Embassy issued helpline number

POKHARA, Jan 15: The Indian Embassy in Kathmandu has issued a helpline number for contact after the news of the plane crash of Yeti Airlines in Pokhara in which five of its citizens were killed.

In a statement issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, the Embassy has issued a helpline number mentioning that it has come to know that there are five Indian nationals as well.

The embassy has issued a helpline number 9851107021 in the name of Diwakar Sharma for Kathmandu and 9856037699 in the name of Lt. Col. Shahdev Tripathi for Pokhara. Also, the embassy is in contact with the local administration and is monitoring the situation.

Yeti Airlines 9N ANC ATR 72 flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara with 68 passengers and four crew members has crashed in Pokhara.
