HAN Banke elects Diwakar Khanal as its new president

NEPALGUNJ, Jan 12: The Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) Banke has elected Diwakar Khanal as its new president. 

HAN Banke Chapter’s 1st  annual general meeting was held on Monday.

The meeting also unanimously elected a new executive committee under the presidency of Khanal

Similarly, the HAN Banke AGM also elected Keshav Neupane as senior vice president, Lokendra Aryal as vice president, Nar Bahadur Oli as general secretary, Dr.Omprakash Mishra as treasurer. 

Likewise​​​​​​​, Asit Shamsher Janga Bahadur Rana of immediate past president, Raj Bikram Shah, Tej Prasad Regmi, Manoj KC, Deepu Gupta and Saroj Kumar Chand have been elected members of the new executive committee.

Inaugurating the first general meeting during the formal program on Monday, Central First Vice President of HAN, Binayak Shah, Central General Secretary Sajan Shakya and others expressed their opinion about the latest business situation and the role of HAN.

All star hotel operators of the district participated in the program presided over by HAN Banke Chairman Asit Rana.

The newly elected president Khanal said that HAN will take the lead in the development and expansion of tourism activities in Nepalgunj as the tourism sector is being destroyed by the economic recession and corona pandemic.
