Chief Minister Adhikari says we would initiate international flights at Pokhara Regional International Airport

KATHMANDU, Jan 10: The newly appointed Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Khagraj Adhikari, said that he would initiate international flights at Pokhara Regional International Airport.

While inaugurating the 12th City Council of Pokhara Metropolitan City on Wednesday, he mentioned that he will meet the Prime Minister regarding regular international flights at the airport.

"We will take the initiative to get permission from other countries for international flights, it is essential for connectivity", the Chief Minister said, "Just as we inaugurated the airport with joy, we ensured regular operation."

He said that Gandaki province should be developed by conducting transformational projects of social upliftment. Chief Minister Adhikari said that he will prioritize not only physical infrastructure but also social development.

He opined that the provincial government is ready to work together with the metropolis to develop Pokhara as an attractive destination in the world.
