China opens 'transit' flight

 

KATHMANDU, Jan 10: China's flag carriers Air China and China Southern have opened 'transit' flights for third countries through China.

Spokesman of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal(CAAN) Gyanendra Bhul informed that from today, two airline companies have made a 'transit' from China and started flying to a third country.

Before Covid, 6 airlines were operating transit flights from China. However, the flight was stopped due to the lockdown.

Since last August, Himalaya Airlines has been flying cargo from Nepal and China Eastern and China Southern from China.

Now it will be easy for travelers going to Australia, America, Canada, Europe through China.
