AOAN slashes air fare

KATHMANDU, Jan 09: Private sector airlines have reduced domestic air fares.

After the Nepal Oil Corporation reduced the price of aviation fuel by 20 rupees per liter, the Airlines Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN)  has reduced the air fare rates.

Along with this, the new fare will be implemented from Wednesday (11th January).

According to the new fare, Kathmandu Mountain Flight has been reduced by 685 rupees. Along with this, the fare of this route has reached 14 thousand 205 rupees.

Similarly, Kathmandu-Bhadrapur fare has decreased by 600 rupees, Kathmandu-Biratnagar by 485 rupees, Kathmandu-Janakpur by 260 rupees, Kathmandu-Bharatpur by 215 rupees, Kathmandu-Pokhara by 320 rupees.

Similarly, the new fare of Kathmandu-Bhairahawa has been set at 8,265 rupees. The fare of the said route has been reduced by 440 rupees from the current one.

The fare of Kathmandu-Nepalgunj has been reduced by 655 rupees, Kathmandu-Dhangadhi by 885 rupees, Kathmandu-Tumlingtar by 370 rupees, Kathmandu-Simara by 180 rupees,Kathmandu-Surkhet by 690 rupees and Kathmandu-Rajviraj route by 411 rupees.
