Shukra Kumar Shrestha elected as president of Tanahun Tourism Promotion Society

KATHMANDU, Jan 09: Shukra Kumar Shrestha has been elected as the president of Tanahun Tourism Promotion Society.

The eighth annual general meeting and convention of the society elected a new working committee under the chairmanship of Shrestha.

Bhuvan Shrestha, Rudra Singh Thakuri, Hari Lamichhane as secretary, Keshav Shrestha as treasurer, Prem Timalsina as co-treasurer, and Nijhwala Pradhan, Surbir Thapa and Ram Thapa were elected as the vice president of the organization.

Tourism businessmen are playing an important role in the development of internal and external tourism in Tanahun.

In the program held under the chairmanship of the current president of the organization, Gupta Bahadur Bhandari, Tanahun area no 2. Shankar Bhandari, Member of Parliament and former Minister of Forests and Environment was the chief guest.

Tourism businessmen from different sectors were involved in the program.
