Tara Air will conduct a demo flight at Resunga Airport on Sunday

KATHMANDU, Jan 07: A demo flight will be held on Sunday (8th January at Resunga Airport, which has been completed in Simichour, Resunga Municipality of Gulmi. Tara Air's TwinOtter aircraft will depart from Tribhuvan International Airport to Gulmi. This plane will take 50 minutes to reach Gulmi from Kathmandu. According to the airline company, Tara Air will conduct a demo flight on Sunday at 10:30 am.

MP Chandra Bhandari, Gokarn Bishta, elected from Gulmi district will be on board the plane. Besides, UML Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali, CPN United Socialist Party Secretary Ramkumari Jhankri will also be on the plane.

Officials of Tara Air and Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) will also be on board. Only 18-seat capacity planes can go here. This plane will stay at Resunga Airport for about 1 hour. Then I will return to Kathmandu again.

According to Yeti Airlines spokesperson Sudarshan Bertaula, after the demo flight on Sunday, the process for regular flights will be started. For regular flights, it will take at least 2 weeks. Initially, Tara Air will fly to this airport in coordination with the local government.
