NATTA conducted  Workplace Based Training Program successfully completed

KATHMANDU, Jan 06: In the context of the revival of the tourism business affected by the global outbreak of Covid-19, realizing that it is very important to produce skilled manpower to re-operate the tourism business of Nepal, by the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) in collaboration with the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FNCCI) with the support of the International Labor Organization. The "Workplace Based Training Program" conducted with the aim of creating employment for the unemployed youth has been successfully completed.

"Airlines Ticketing" and "Tour Product Development" training were completed in the said training programs. It is believed that a total of 30 trainees have benefited from these training programs and it is believed that the lack of skilled manpower in the tourism sector will help in the resumption of the tourism business.

Certificates were distributed to the trainees who participated in the training program and completed the training. Mr. Anjan Shrestha, Vice President of FNCCI, and Mr. Saurabh Ram Joshi, National Coordinator of International Labor Organization, were special guests in the event. Certificates were distributed to the trainees by the Chief Guest, Special Guest and NATTA President at the closing ceremony held in the FNCCI. On this occasion, it is believed that the training program will create jobs and provide some relief to the youths who go abroad in search of work.
