Baruni Acharya appointed as Tourism Goodwill Ambassador of Thailand

 

KATHMANDU, Jan 05: Government has appointed Baruni Acharya as Nepali Tourism Goodwill Ambassador for Thailand.

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has appointed Acharya as Nepali Tourism Goodwill Ambassador for Thailand for four years.

There is a legal provision that the government can appoint a person who can establish the image of Nepal in the world tourism market as a tourism goodwill ambassador.

Acharya is working in the hotel, tourism and construction sector in Thailand.

She said that she will contribute to making Nepal known as an attractive tourism center at the international level.
