Buddha Air to operate flights from Pokhara International Airport from January 1

 

KATHMANDU, Dec 30: The newly built international airport in Pokhara is going to be operational from 1st January 2023. The physical infrastructure of the new airport is very good. IFR technology has also been installed at this airport. Now you can fly even in low visibility.

Buddha Air is fully prepared to operate all its flights from the new international airport. This airport has a ramp bus to bring passengers from the terminal building to the plane. Passengers have to use the ramp bus to get around the plane and the terminal building.

Check-in counter numbers 3, 4 and 5 have been designated for Buddha Air at Pokhara International Airport. Buddha Air has requested the passengers to check-in on time as the baggage weight and security checks take time.

As it will take some time to get used to the new airport, Buddha Air has specially requested passengers traveling from Pokhara to check-in at the airport 2 hours before the time mentioned in the ticket.

Buddha Air has announced through a press release that it will gradually connect every destination in the country like Kathmandu from this airport. With the permission of the Civil Authority, it will also fly at night from 23rd February.

Buddha Air will also fly from Pokhara to Varanasi in India after getting international permission. Buddha Air has 11 ATR-72, 3 ATR-42 aircraft. Buddha Air is going to induct 3 more ATR-72s in the near future.
