Binod Adhikari appointed as Goodwill Ambassador for US state of Pennsylvania

KATHMANDU, Dec 29: Binod Adhikari has been appointed as the Tourism and Goodwill Ambassador for the US state of Pennsylvania.

An official active in promoting mountain tourism has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Tourism Goodwill Mission by ministerial decision.

On Tuesday, Dinesh Adhikari, secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, gave him the appointment letter on Tuesfgay. He was appointed for a four-year term.

According to the Goodwill Ambassador Guide 2078, the Ministry of Tourism appoints people involved in tourism activities.

The official has also made a financial picture including record climber Kamirita Sherpa's Everest climb.
