Tourism Trade Union's attention letter to NMA, NATTA and TAAN

KATHMANDU, Dec 27: The Joint Tourism Trade Unions Forum (JOTTUF) has submitted an attention letter to Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) and Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA).

If the demand is not heard and the agreement is not implemented within 7 days, JOTTUF has also warned that there will be a phased protest and lockout against the organization.

JOTUF reminded that Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) and Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) submitted seven different demands on August 28, 2079. Likewise, on 17 July 2079, Nepal Mountaineering Association and the United Tourism Trade Union Forum had reached an agreement on various 10 points.

Even after almost 5 months, JOTTUF has become angry as these organizations have not shown any interest towards the demands and agreements of the United Trade Union. Also, from the date of registration of the letter, it has given serious attention to the working committee to conclude it through dialogue, dialogue and discussion within 7 days.

Also, it has requested to implement the agreement on various 10 points between the Nepal Mountaineering Association and the Joint Tourism Trade Unions Forum (JOTTUF) as soon as possible.

If the letter is ignored, after 7 days, according to the legal procedure, 6 trade unions affiliated to JOTTUF will be forced to stage a protest and lockout against TAAN, NATTA and NMA.
