Nepal Sales Mission Malaysia to promote air services and tourism

KATHMANDU, Dec 26: The Air service and tourism promotion program 'Nepal Sales Mission Malaysia' has been completed. The program was held in Malaysia by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Nepal Airlines Corporation, Nepal Tourism Board and NATTA.

Speaking at the event, Suresh Raj Adhikari, Secretary of the Ministry, has invited Malaysian tourism professionals to bring Malaysian tourists to Nepal. He also promised to do all the facilitation work on behalf of the government. Similarly, the Chairman of Nepal Tourism Board, Dr. Dhananjay Regmi, said that they will design and promote a celebrable package in collaboration with tourism businessmen of Malaysia and Nepal and Nepal Airlines Corporation.

Yuvraj Adhikari, executive chairman of the corporation, said that the government will act as an important pillar in the plan to bring in tourists. He said that this would contribute to the economic development of Nepal as a whole and also earn foreign currency.

Similarly, an agent sales meet and interaction program was held in Kuala Lumpur. In that program, the executive chairman of the corporation explained the future plans of the corporation and said that he will address the plans to increase the number of flights in the Malaysia sector as well as the feedback from the agents.

In addition to empowering the corporation's sales agents, tickets to Kuala Lumpur Kathmandu, Kathmandu Kuala Lumpur were provided through a lucky draw. The Malaysian Sales Mission and Agent Sales Meet and Interaction program was attended by the Executive Chairman of the Corporation, the Deputy Directors of the Institutional Department and the Market Management Department as well as the employees of the Corporation's Kuala Lumpur Station.

Similarly, there was an agreement between the Nepal Airlines Corporation and the Nepali Embassy in Malaysia to keep information about the corporation on the website of the embassy to promote the Nepal Airlines Corporation and to hold joint promotional programs in different cities. There was a discussion and meeting program between the Minister of Tourism of Malaysia, Chairman of Nepal Tourism Board and Chairman of Airline Corporation regarding tourism promotion.
