Plane landed at Pokhara International Airport for first time

KATHMANDU, Dec 23: A plane has landed for the first time at Pokhara International Airport, which is preparing for a commercial flight.

According to the airport office, Yeti Airlines and Buddha Air planes that took off from Pokhara's old airport landed at the new airport and conducted a 'demo flight'.

Instructor pilot Pramod Paudel, who arrived at the new airport by flying a plane of Yeti Airlines, commented that the airport is excellent. He said, "This will make domestic flights safer."

Separate structures have been made for domestic and international flights at the airport.

From January 1, 2023, all flights except small planes, helicopters and ultraflights have been prepared from this airport.

This airport has the first aerobridge in Nepal. Passengers of international flights can now board and disembark from this aerobridge.
