Yeti Airlines prepares to fly from Pokhara International Airport, demonstration flight will be held on Thursday

KATHMANDU, Dec 21: A private airline company Yeti Airlines, has prepared to fly from Pokhara International Airport.

As the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) prepares to operate the Pokhara International Airport in Pokhara from January 1, Yeti Airlines is going to conduct a demonstration flight on Thursday.

Airline's spokesperson and head of air security Sudarshan Bartaula said that the ATR-72 aircraft will conduct a demonstration flight at Pokhara International Airport at 10 am as a project of national pride.In preparation for the flight, the airlines have intensified the internal work of preparing the manpower required to fly from the new airport, providing the necessary training, managing the ground equipment and preparing the office at the airport.

Spokesperson Bartaula said that Yeti Airlines is going to fly the crew members to get used to the new airport and for the internal preparation of the airline.

According to the airline, this type of flight will make it easier for the crew members to get information about the new airport. Yeti has been making seven daily flights from Kathmandu to Pokhara, and with the opening of the international airport, it has prepared to increase the number of regular flights and to make regional flights from Pokhara to other airports.
