Buddha Air's urges to install IFR technology at Surkhet Airport

KATHMANDU, Dec 19: Buddha Air has requested to install IFR technology at Surkhet Airport.

Buddha has requested the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), State and Federal Government to use IFR technology to make Surkhet airport passenger friendly.

Currently, VFR technology is operating at the airport. Buddha made this request because there is a possibility that the flight will be canceled when the weather is bad and delayed.

The company said that if IFR technology is installed in Surkhet, like other airports in the country, it will be easier to take flight. With this technology, you can fly even in low visibility.

If the IFR technology is connected, it will be possible to take flight in the evening and at night and it will be more convenient for the passengers to spend their time according to their convenience.

Buddha operated a flight from 16 December to Surkhet, the capital of Karnali province, by ATR-72 aircraft.

Fares have also become more convenient and simple when flying on a larger plane.

Keeping in mind the demands and requests of the passengers, Buddha Air has announced that it will also operate another flight from December 21.
