Five flights a week in Tarigaon Airport

Five flights a week in Tarigaon Airport

DANG, Dec 18: Tarigaon Airport located at Tulsipur-12 in Dang will now have flights five days a week. Previously, there were flights only three days a week. According to Deputy Chief of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City Syani Choudhary, earlier flights were being conducted only on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

He said that recently, flights are being made on Sundays and Tuesdays as well. He said that the flight was also increased after fuel was refueled from the air fuel depot. "Earlier, fueling was not started from the fuel depot, now fueling has started from here", he said, "so now five days a week flights have been added." He said that if there is an increase in the number of passengers, they have prepared to fill up the air flights every day.

He also said that preparations are being made to coordinate with private air services. "If it is regular, we are bringing private sector planes", he said, "It depends on the passenger demand." Fuel filling has started from the fuel depot built at the airport a few days ago. Currently, 19-seater Twin Otter aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation are operating.

At one time there were two daily flights, but recently the air service was reduced to only three days. Due to this, there was a compulsion to go to Bhairahawa and Nepalgunj for air services from this area. Now two more days of air service have been added to end it. Along with this, the air flight has been going on for five days now.
