Kathmandu Metropolitan reawakens Dabali civilization : Balendra Shah

KATHMANDU, Dec 16: The Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Balendra Shah, said that the metropolis will reawaken the dabali civilization.

In a program organized on the occasion of the 28th Metropolitan Day of Kathmandu Metropolitan City on Thursday, Mayor Shah said that the Metropolitan City is going to reawaken the dabali civilization within the Kathmandu Valley.

He said that the dabali in the valley will be used for public awareness programs.

Mayor Shah said that cultures should be passed on to new generations to revive them. He insisted on documenting the original instruments and teaching them to the new generations.

He said that the digitalization of the service provided by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City has been started.

Shah said that the metropolis has moved forward by cooperating with neighboring municipalities and governments at all levels in the fields of education, health and infrastructure.
