Hyatt Regency Kathmandu organises Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony (Photo Feature)
KATHMANDU, Dec 12: Hyatt Regency Kathmandu held its annual Christmas tree lighting Ceremony on 9th December to mark the beginning of the Christmas celebrations. It was an event featuring a large ornamentally decorated Christmas tree, along with a life-size gingerbread house and a wish tree as well.
The event began with a welcome speech from the General Manager, Ashish Kumar. There were Christmas carols playing along with a Santa who was entertaining the children making for a truly joyous environment. The event was attended by Dean R Thompson, Bijay Amatya, Ceo of Kora Tour, along with Nalini Lakhe Thapa, Director of NTB, and various other national and international dignitaries. There was a live performance and high tea with assorted treats such as Bruschetta, Linzer Torte, Plum cakes, etc. A humble charity program was also done for Autism Care Nepal.
