Number of tourists increase at Province No.1

BIRATNAGAR, Dec 09:The number of tourists visit to Province No.1 has increased significantly in the fiscal year 2078/79.

By the end of asar 2078/79, the number of domestic and foreign tourists coming to this province has increased significantly. Nepal Rastra Bank has conducted on-site and off-site visits to 14 districts under Province No.1 and in the annual study report on economic activities of the financial year 2021/22, it shows that the number of domestic tourists has increased by 58.4 percent and the number of foreign tourists has increased by 308.3 percent.
