Make remote areas flights easy

Make remote areas flights easy

KATHMANDU, Dec 09:The Central Monitoring and Evaluation Committee has instructed the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation to facilitate air flights in remote areas.

The meeting of the Central Monitoring and Evaluation Committee held on 13th December under the coordination of Chief Secretary Shankardas Bairagi has given this instruction to the Ministry. The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has written to the Ministry to implement the directive.

At present, most of the remote airports have not been able to have regular flights. Regular flights are often affected when airline companies with available aircraft give priority to chartered flights. On the other hand, flights could not start due to lack of aircraft in some airports. The government has not even been able to force some airlines to fly to remote areas.
