Buddha Air’s ATR-72 aircraft to begin Surkhet-Kathmandu flights from December 16

KATHMANDU, Dec 09: Buddha Air has decided to fly Kathmandu-Surkhet with ATR-72 aircraft from  December 16.

Buddha is going to fly through ATR-72 for the increasing demand and convenience of passengers.

Buddha Air has said that it will fly from Kathmandu to Surkhet at 10:00 a.m. and from Surkhet at 11:35 a.m. to Kathmandu.

Buddha Air issued a press release on Wednesday and said that since the number of seats in the currently operating ATR-42 flight is less as per the demand of passengers, it is going to fly through ATR-72.

The company said that with the operation of the plane, the operating expenses will be reduced and the passengers will benefit.

Low-fare seats will also be available on larger airline flights.

Similarly, the minimum fare to this destination will start from 7,000 rupees and according to the demand, the company will operate two flights daily.
