1,441 mountaineers get permit to climb mountains

KATHMANDU, Dec 06: One thousand four hundred and fourty one mountaineers team have taken permission to climb various mountains in Nepal. In November teams from different countries took permission to climb the mountain.

According to the data of the Department of Tourism, there are 1,110 men and 331 women who have received permission to climb.The government has collected worth Rs 93.10 million in royalties.

According to the department, 475 people have taken permission for Mt. Ama Dablam (6,814 meters), the highest number of people who have taken permission to climb the mountain. 24.9 million royaltieshas been received from those who have taken permission to climb the Mt.Ama Dablam.

According to the Department of Tourism, 404 people had taken permission for Mount Manaslu (8,163 m). Rs.46.2 million royalties has been collected. Similarly, it is mentioned in the statistics of the department that when 141 people took permission to climb Mt.Himlung, 4.4 million rupees were received as royalties.
